What Is Item Upgrade And Why Is Everyone Dissing It?

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar one and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any money wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can roll their equipment in three attributes that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage.  item upgrade  can take from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are a variety of methods to get the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.

Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at once. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be added in addition to an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On  item upgrade , players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
