World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also boost extra bonuses, such as crit chance and PvE damage.
For example, a weapon with the upgrade template ending in % will take on an attack damage of 3% each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).
The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item level rises.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an extra stat boost or effect while they're in use. They can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components are only available to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before the component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.
A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is applied to (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with fewer Upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level using standard methods.
A 'boost upgrade' can modify the attack or defense properties of a weapon, or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or purchasing them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals each.
Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will be revealed during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much they'll improve following a subsequent reset.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be expensive, and there is a substantial possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break if it fails. A failure to upgrade can destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items to double or even eliminate the chances of failure, as well as some upgrades that provide a bonus when reinserted into an item.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, including any existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded various ways, and we suggest upgrading them to 15 levels as soon as you can.
You'll often see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the most effective way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.
Glyphs, the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced again are the most popular. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.
Each Glyph has a particular range of values that can enhance a stat by, and the value is displayed when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.
Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the various Glyphs and there are some rare Glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.
Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs then you have to put them on your equipment. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.
Utilizing a Glyph will boost all the nodes connected to it, and you should aim to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. For upgrade item that a Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but you should also consider placing them near critical damage nodes as well.
Leveling
The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components in them. This is also known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has an amount that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each item level requires different components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.
Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrading an item. When enough points have been earned you'll be eligible to claim the upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.
When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a new item of the same type. The same armor will receive a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set bonus. This could be a problem, as it can make the item more expensive if you don't need it.
Upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough tokens to be able to do so. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that is based on a level 1 base and totally different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, however it shouldn't be done regularly, as it could waste a lot of resources.
Certain upgrades can increase their value and allow players to personalize their gear. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player repeatedly enters and exits water (or is able to swim like a dolphin). This item can be upgraded many times by increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is very important in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of its unupgraded counterpart.
Requirements
The upgrade of items allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency and items to an item upgrade r NPC. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also increase the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapons will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear that can have eight upgrades. Every when you upgrade an item, it is given the chance to fail. item upgrades of failure increases as you go over the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can result in the item reverting to its original state which means that the player has to spend additional resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.
If an item is not able to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it gained like chances to be crit attack damage, other effects (such as increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.
When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that should a weapon gain an increase in its crit chance the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.
The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item could have five upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items will have a much lower cost for each upgrade.
Premium items might have different upgrade requirements than standard gear. For example they might require less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. The player will need to take every piece of equipment they wish to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of the upgrade ingredients in addition to the cost mentioned above.
